Beautiful Transfagarasan Highway, Romania

Worked by Nicolae Ceausescu during the 1970s, this explosive manufactured expressway resists the mountains that encompass it, connecting Transylvania and Walachia through a progression of passages, extensions and viaducts. The blokes at Top Gear waxed idyllic about this difficult to-articulate interstate, yet we're speculating the Romanian diamond is still generally unperturbed by the motoring masses.
