Beautiful Cerro Estrella, Chile

Cerro Estrella is a stratovolcano at a rise of 5.702m (18,707ft) over the ocean level, situated in El Loa Province, Antofagasta Region, Chile. It's one of the most astounding mountain streets of the nation.

The way to the summit, otherwise called Lastarria or Azufre, is an old mine trail moving up to Mina Julia, a relinquished sulfur mine. The mine was operational somewhere in the range of 1953 and 1979. The street is rock. Due its interesting area and the move in rise more than a huge number of feet, and going through remote regions, it is imperative when driving in these conditions to be readied. Keep in mind water, nourishment, additional fuel, a warm coat, a great GPS and maps. The surface isn't incredible and there are some extremely steep segments. Situated in the Andean Highlands the trip is basically horrible, with a notorius absence of oxygen that tests the life forms and a high level of steepness. The vast majority feel height infection at around 2,500-2,800 meters. Close to the summit, oxygen is hard to come by. Expect cruel climate, outrageous sun powered radiation and high breezes all together blended with low temperatures.
