RED LORY

The excellent Red Lory is local to Indonesia. The size is around 31 cm long and weighs around 30 to 300 gms. All the body is red in shading including plumage. In any case, red, blue and dark stamping can be seen around the wings and the tail is red-darker with blue under-tail coverts. The nose of red lory is orange and legs are in red shading. Both male and female have a comparable appearance. Thier diet incorporates organic products, dust, lories eat nectar and periodic creepy crawlies.
