Situated about somewhere between the Croatian capital Zagreb and Zadar on the bank of the Adriatic Sea, Plitvice Lakes are an enchanted universe of living, moving water encompassed by old woods, 16 lakes connected by cascades, spans characteristic and man-made, and 300 square kilometers of wild magnificence loaded with bears, wolves, pigs, and winged creatures.
