This extensive dam in Switzerland has been based on the Dixence River in the Swiss Alps. It has a tallness of 285 meters and the primary motivation behind this dam is creating hydroelectric power. It has an ability to control more than 40,000 homes with the power it produces and circulates to four power plants. It is a solid gravity dam and is the tallest gravity dam on the planet.
