Blue Monkey is an animal types having a place with the Old World monkeys and is local to Central and East Africa. Notwithstanding its name, the blue monkey isn't observably blue, rather it has little hair all over, and this occasionally gives it a blue appearance. The blue monkey is most generally found in evergreen timberlands and montane bamboo backwoods, and shelter woods. It eats mostly products of the soil and wants to live in tall trees which can furnish them with both nourishment and asylum.

Moreover known as "diademed monkey" as a result of the fix of whitish or yellowish hide on the temple that resembles a diadem. The species is most dynamic amid the day and subsequently known as diurnal creatures and love to invest the vast majority of the energy in treetops (arboreal species). It is an omnivore and adores to eat organic product (particularly figs), leaves, creepy crawlies and little spineless creatures. They are generally found in troops of 10 to 40 individuals. A blue monkey can survive 20 years in the wild and over 30 years in the bondage.
