This desert plant is found in the hot deserts of Southwestern America and is the biggest desert plant found on this mainland. It is named after its abnormal round and hollow shape that resembles a barrel. It can grow up to 10 meters (in excess of 30 feet) tall and has thistles up to 4 inches. The blooms of this plant are orange in shading and develop straightforwardly on the beefy stem. This plant can get by for up to six years out of the ground by using the put away water in its stem.
